THE SHAPE OF NOISE TO COME

SYNTHETIC The Shape of Noise to Come is a project that spans sculpture, installation, and performance. Readymade objects from technical AV practices that input and output; screens, camera, speakers, microphones, cables, and computers, are hacked into novel feedback assemblages.

Together, these systems act to overlay the virtual over the real and render the contingent act of self-(re)production.

Installed, these objects provide a mirror through which traces of the past iterations and performances can be experienced by audiences.

During periods of installations, these assembled systems are peformed and manifold new material, traces of which are folded back inwards in an indefinite cycle of synthesis and individuation.
